SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA
Although not generally known for its environment concerns, Las Vegas has turned itself into a hub for new and innovative water technology and conservation. Every drop of water is watched, measured, and monitored acoustically to detect leaks within 6500 miles of pipes. All indoor water is cleansed and recycled to the source. As Las Vegas enters the 17th year of a drought, the city stands at a fine point in their efforts to achieve sustainability. They have no choice. And the name of the problem is water. Working together again with producer Diana Fuller and director Christopher Beaver on this truely eye opeing documentary was a joy and education into the current state of water crisis effecting every corner of this planet. The program feeds on NETA The National Educational Telecommunications Associations on March 14, 2020.
